changes...

allie is doing well & seems to be recovering nicely. She has a followup visit next week, and i think thats it for a while. Still a little sore, but im sure things will start to get better quickly now. Its been a full week, so i assume most of the discomfort should start to subside. :( I hate seeing my bubbies in pain!

Last night was my last meeting as Board of Directors, President. I am officially off the BOD and am just a regular ol' unit owner. That is a huge responsibility/weight lifted off my shoulders. I will still stay involved & help out... but for the most part, I'm done.

Next week will officially start my training plan. I need to work out the plan this weekend, but come monday, no more excuses, no more pushing it off... the time is now. I am going to focus on building up a huge base for the next few months. Lots of endurance. Lots of tempo. My mom is training for a cancer ride (100 miles) in july, and im pretty sure im going to ride with her for support. this is a big deal for her, given all of her health problems... plus having cancer herself 10 years ago. Im proud of her for pushing to do this... in fact she is putting more time on the trainer than me, at this point!
